crowdee Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING AS A CROWDEE

By registering on the Crowdy platform or using any feature of the Crowdy Bot or website (crowdy.world), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Platform.

1.  DEFINITIONS

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

​

  • “Crowdy”, “we”, “us”, “our” means Crowdy Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN: 202617310Z).

​

  • “Crowdee”, “you”, “your” means any individual who has registered on the Platform and been accepted by Crowdy to participate in Gigs.

​

  • “Organiser” means a business or individual who engages Crowdy’s services to recruit Crowdees to attend their event.

​

  • “Platform” means the Crowdy Bot (operated via Telegram), the website at crowdy.world, and all related systems.

​

  • “Gig” means a single event for which a Crowdee is recruited and compensated to attend as a paid attendee.

​

  • “Gig Fee” means the compensation payable to a Crowdee upon successful completion of a Gig.

​

  • “Personal Data” has the meaning given in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (PDPA).

2.  ACCEPTANCE AND ELIGIBILITY

2.1 ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

​

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any Crowdee Guidelines published by Crowdy, form a legally binding agreement between you and Crowdy.

​

2.2 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

​

To register and participate as a Crowdee, you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration and at all times while using the Platform;

  • be a natural person; corporate entities may not register as Crowdees;

  • hold a valid Singapore mobile number capable of receiving PayNow transfers;

  • have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Singapore law;

  • not be an undischarged bankrupt;

  • not be subject to any court order or legal restriction that would prevent you from participating in the activities described herein;

  • provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and at all times thereafter.

2.3 AGE VERIFICATION

​

You warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. You acknowledge that Crowdy currently verifies age through self-declaration of date of birth. Crowdy reserves the right to request additional verification at any time and to suspend or permanently ban any Crowdee found to be under 18 years of age, with immediate forfeiture of any pending Gig Fees.

2.4 ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

​

Each individual may hold only one active Crowdee account. You may not register multiple accounts or transfer your account to another person. Crowdy reserves the right to merge, suspend, or permanently ban accounts found to be duplicates or to have been created in bad faith, including accounts created to circumvent a prior Ban.

3. INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDER STATUS

3.1 NO EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP

You acknowledge and agree that your participation on the Platform as a Crowdee does not create any employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, or franchise between you and Crowdy or between you and any Organiser. You are an independent individual providing a personal attendance service on a per-Gig basis.

3.2 NO GUARANTEED ENGAGEMENT

​

Crowdy makes no representation or guarantee that any Gigs will be available to you at any time, that you will be selected for any Gig for which you register interest, or that you will earn any particular amount on the Platform. Availability of Gigs is subject to Organiser demand and Crowdy's operational decisions.

3.3 NO EXCLUSIVITY

​

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions prevents you from working for, providing services to, or otherwise engaging with other platforms, employers, or service providers. Crowdy does not require exclusivity.

​

3.4 TAX OBLIGATIONS

​

Gig Fees are paid to you gross, without deduction of income tax, CPF contributions, or any other statutory deduction. You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling your own tax and statutory obligations in respect of all amounts earned through the Platform, including but not limited to declaring earnings to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). Crowdy provides no tax advice and accepts no liability for your failure to comply with applicable tax obligations.

3.5 CPF

​

As an independent service provider, CPF contributions are not applicable to Gig Fee payments made by Crowdy to Crowdees. You acknowledge and accept this and agree that you will not make any CPF-related claim against Crowdy.

4.  PLATFORM USE AND GIG PARTICIPATION

​4.1 REGISTRATION AND ONBOARDING

​

To become a Crowdee, you must complete the onboarding process via the Crowdy Bot and provide accurate information.

​

Crowdy reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion without providing reasons. Acceptance of an application does not constitute a guarantee of Gig access or earnings.

​

​

4.2 GIG DISCOVERY AND REGISTRATION

​

Accepted Crowdees may browse available Gigs posted by Crowdy on the Platform. 

​

Crowdees register interest in a Gig on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration of interest does not guarantee selection. 

​

​

4.3 CONFIRMATION AND VENUE REVEAL

​

Upon confirmation of selection for a Gig, Crowdy will send you the full venue address and any additional Organiser instructions via the Crowdy Bot. This information is confidential and must not be shared with any third party.

​

4.4 CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT AND CONDUCT

​

You must behave as a natural and respectful guest at all events, comply with venue rules, and follow the dress code and conduct expectations set out in the Gig listing and Crowdee Guidelines.

​

Failure to complete Check-In within the designated window will result in a No-Show penalty. Failure to complete Check-Out will be subject to Crowdy's admin discretion in accordance with Clause 5.

5. CANCELLATION, RELIABILITY AND BANS

Crowdy maintains a reliability system to protect Organisers and the quality of the Platform. Repeated cancellations, failure to attend, or breaches of conduct may result in Strikes, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the Platform, as set out in the Crowdee Guidelines.

6.  PAYMENT TERMS

6.1 GIG FEE

​

The Gig Fee payable for each Gig is as specified in the Gig listing at the time of your registration. Gig Fees are set by Crowdy and reflect the compensation passed through to Crowdees from the Organiser's total booking fee, net of Crowdy's platform service charge.

6.2 PAYMENT ELIGIBILITY

 

Payment is subject to successful completion of the Gig and verification requirements. Crowdy may withhold or reduce payment where it reasonably believes the Crowdee did not fulfil the obligations of the Gig.

​

​

6.3 PAYMENT MODE AND TIMING

​

Gig Fees are disbursed via PayNow to the Singapore mobile number registered on your account. Payment is typically made within 48 hours of the Gig's completion and admin reconciliation. Crowdy does not guarantee payment within any specific timeframe and accepts no liability for delays caused by banking systems, PayNow outages, or other factors outside Crowdy's reasonable control.

You are responsible for ensuring that the mobile number registered on your account is accurate, active, and capable of receiving PayNow transfers. Crowdy accepts no liability for failed or misdirected payments resulting from incorrect account details provided by you.

​

​

6.4 REFUND POLICY FOR CROWDEES

​

No refunds are available to Crowdees. Gig Fees are only paid after successful attendance and completion of all verification requirements. Penalties for no-shows or late cancellations are set out in the Crowdee Guidelines.

​

6.5 CANCELLATION BY CROWDY

​

Crowdy may cancel a confirmed Gig at any time. Where cancellation is due to a Force Majeure Event (as defined in Clause 14), no compensation is payable to Crowdees. Where cancellation is initiated by Crowdy for operational reasons with less than 24 hours' notice to confirmed Crowdees, Crowdy will use reasonable endeavours to offer a goodwill payment, the amount of which is at Crowdy's sole discretion. No goodwill payment is guaranteed and does not constitute an admission of liability.

7.  CONFIDEnTIAlity

7.1 CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATIONS

 

Confidentiality is fundamental to the Platform. You agree that you will not at any time:

​

  • disclose that you are a paid Crowdee or that Crowdy exists;

  • reveal that you have been compensated to attend an event;

  • share any Gig details, venue information, Organiser identity, or internal Crowdy communications with any third party;

  • post content about the event on social media unless expressly authorised.

​

​

7.2 CONSEQUENCES OF BREACH

 

Breach of confidentiality is a material breach and may result in immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of all pending payments. Crowdy may also pursue legal remedies, including injunctive relief.

8.  DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

8.1 PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

 

Crowdy collects and processes your Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). By registering, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your Personal Data for operating the Platform, verifying attendance, processing payments, and maintaining platform integrity.

8.2 ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

 

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your Personal Data by contacting support@crowdy.world.

9.  INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property in the Platform, Bot, and branding belongs to Crowdy. You are granted a limited, revocable licence to use the Platform solely for participating in Gigs.

10.  LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

10.1 CROWDY'S LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crowdy’s total liability to you shall not exceed the Gig Fee payable for the specific Gig giving rise to the claim.

10.2 NO WARRANTY

 

Crowdy provides the Platform on an “as is” basis and makes no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or suitability of Gigs.

​

​

10.3 SAFETY AT EVENTS

 

You attend all events at your own risk. Crowdy is not responsible for the safety or condition of any venue.

​

​

10.4 CROWDEE INDEMNIFICATION

 

You agree to indemnify Crowdy against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your conduct at events, or any misrepresentation.

11.  PLATFORM INTEGRITY AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You must not:

​

  • create multiple accounts;

  • submit false verification;

  • engage in fraudulent or disruptive behaviour;

  • breach confidentiality;

  • solicit Organisers directly to bypass the Platform.

12.  MODIFICATIONS

Crowdy may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13.  TERMINATION

13.1 TERMINATION BY CROWDEE

 

You may delete your account at any time.

13.2 TERMINATION BY CROWDY

 

Crowdy may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason at its sole discretion.

14.  force MAJEURE

Crowdy shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government orders or restrictions, war, civil unrest, fire, flood, power failure, telecommunications failure, or failure of third-party platforms such as Telegram or PayNow.

15.  GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

16.  GENERAL

16.1 ENTIRE AGREEMENT

​

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and Crowdee Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Crowdy with respect to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

​

16.2 SEVERABILITY

​

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
